Q: What do I need to bring for my first visit?
A: First time patients must bring identification, insurance information,
and new patient packet. If under 18 a legal guardian must be present
with you.
Q: Do I need to be early for my scheduled appointment
time?
A: Yes 10 to 15 minutes
Q: What clothing should I wear on the day of my doctor’s
visit?
A: Wear loose fitting clothing; the doctor must be able to examine
the area without restriction.
Q: Do I need to bring a companion with me?
A: Yes, if you are having a procedure done, you may not be able
to drive.
Q: What information should I bring for the doctor?
A: Bring a detailed list of medications, past medical history,
doctor’s notes, x-rays, and/or MRI's.
Q: I've had a change of insurance since my last visit.
When should I notify the office?
A: Notify the office prior to your next schedule visit
Q: Am I responsible for a payment at the time of my visit?
A: Yes, you are responsible for co-pays and deductibles
Q: It is my first visit; will I be seeing a doctor?
A: Yes, you will be seen by the doctor that you made the appointment
with.
Q: What happens if I need an X-Ray or an MRI?
A: We have X-Ray and MRI onsite.
Q: Will I need to have follow up care for rehabilitation?
A: It is a good possibility that you may need restorative therapies.
Coastal has physical and occupational therapy on-site.
Q: Am I able to get a prescription filled at Coastal?
A: Yes, your doctor may write you a prescription which you can
fill at our in-house pharmacy, or you can go to a pharmacy of
your choice.
