- Specializes in primary hip and knee replacement and adult hip and knee reconstruction using computer navigation, hip resurfacing and partial knee resurfacing techniques
- Performs complex revision of failed hip and knee replacements and reconstruction
- Performs clinical research in joint replacement surgery
- Has performed more than 3500 joint replacement procedures, including more than 1500 computer assisted knee replacements
- Participates in the design of joint replacement implants as a Design Consultant for Stryker Orthopedics
- Serves as the Chief of Surgery for HCA’s Blake Medical Center
- Received medical degree from the University of Florida
- Completed Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Carolinas Medical Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, where he served as Chief Resident
- Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
- Affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons
